Switch Creative is looking for a mid-level web developer with an in-depth knowledge of Craft CMS to add to the creative team. OKC or Dallas preferred, but qualified remote candidates are welcome.
At Switch, we believe in listening above all else — listening to our clients, to our peers, to one another. We're not experts, and are far from perfect when it comes to being actively anti-racist, but it feels tone-deaf to not acknowledge what is going on in the world right now.
So, how is Switch handling things in a global pandemic? We are fortunate and aware of our very unique position, (and that things can change quickly). We are united, and we are (cracking knuckles, rolling up sleeves, masks, and boots on) cranking away. Read on for more on how Switch is approaching COVID-19
Garage Brand is a podcast about great brands and the people behind them. The co-hosts, Glen Collins and Jaime Cawyer are both partners here at the Switch, and having been in the business of branding for over 15 years, they have learned that branding can be a wild space to work in.
We've been busy on the food & beverage front. A few of the projects in that effort came to light in some of our favorite cities this spring.
First, The Red Rooster brought back one of Oklahoma City's longest running establishments. While the previously beer-only bar was near and dear to many OKC residents during its long history, it was on its last leg and in need of revitalization. Our friends and previous clients Holy Rollers took over the Red Rooster and brought it back as a neighborhood cocktail bar and some of the best food being served in OKC.

Next came Revelers Hall in Dallas. Our Creative Director Justin Childress worked in tandem with Jason Roberts and Amy Cowan to bring a little bit of New Orleans-meets-Texas to the Bishop Arts neighborhood of Dallas. With his family roots in Louisiana, Justin was the perfect designer to lead the effort to brand the jazz / live music club.

Lastly, longtime friends and clients at MiddleState Coffee opened their first brick & mortar after years of building a nation-wide following for their roasting and wholesale efforts. Switch was integral in development of the shop from branding to packaging to the signage throughout the space.

Switch is proud to share the new Oklahoma Christian University brand.
Over the past year, Switch has worked alongside the campus of Oklahoma Christian University to completely reimagine their visual identity, brand strategy, and messaging. The process was exhaustive and comprehensive. We'll be working all summer to help OC implement the new brand by the opening of the fall 19 semester.
In the meantime, check out the brand reveal video we created for OC. The video was shown to the trustees, faculty, staff, and students in the first week of April to give a glimpse into what is to come.
We're extremely excited about a new partnership and project we have in the works. In Oklahoma City, if there is something cool happening, it feels like almost every time you check who the architect is, you find Gardner Architects. They are putting their stamp on our city and the result is absolutely beautiful, intelligent, and timeless.
We're excited to work through a comprehensive branding exercise for their studio and help them to define who they are both strategically and visually.
More to share soon!
We’re thrilled to announce that Jaime Cawyer has been named as Switch’s newest Associate Partner. Jaime has been with us for almost 5 years as a Project Manager, and has been a pivotal player in both Switch’s project management and project flow operations for her entire tenure. She also works closely with Kimi, our Founding Partner, to maintain cultural cohesion between our two offices, and makes sure that we don’t forget anyone’s birthday. She holds the keys to all the most important doors at Switch; now she gets some new business cards to go with em. Congrats, Jaime!
A little over a year ago, we were honored to help one of our friends at Bar Arbolada to evolve their brand from a wordmark into a full brand system. This past month were beyond excited to help brand their first anniversary party. The owner made a very simple request: I want it to feel like a Steve Miller Band tour t-shirt. Utilizing the incredible Eckmannpsych typeface by OH NO Type Co. we created shirts and menus to commemorate the bar's milestone.
