Misook and Ming Wang are two sides of the same coin. The two brands are sister companies with related product lines, but very different target markets. Our challenge was to establish design strategies for both companies (in collaboration with our colleague Andy Slipher) that reinforced their common standard of excellence, but emphasized what made each brand unique in itself. These individual voices were then showcased in cohesive brand standard manuals, and transposed across both promotional and digital medias.
Switch was able to take two of our existing brands and identify what needed to be done in order to show the true essence of what made them each great. Their curiosity and thorough exploration of our company’s history, values, and process allowed them to creatively and cohesively develop identities that were not only comprehensive but iconic.
